MEET YOUR TEAM at SHAYLINE

Our core crew and leadership include Chris, Corey, and Chantal. Since our inception in 2019, we’ve built a reputation for excellence in storm response and power restoration across North America.

We bring our equipment, decades of experience and multi-generational talent to every project. The foundation of Shayline was built long before 2019, thanks to our father, George Shay, who dedicated 50+ years to the trade as a lineman, and our great-uncle, Ron Riley.

Chris: With that legacy in mind, Chris became a third-generation lineman. Over his career, he’s developed expertise in barehand linework on a variety of different energized voltages, up to 500kv. Becoming proficient in rope access techniques on energized transmission. As well as helicopter line work maintenance, and construction on distribution/transmission systems. His wealth of experience and with safety in mind laid the groundwork for Shayline’s excellence.
Corey: Also a third-generation lineman, Corey brings a deep knowledge of the trade and experience working on projects across the country. His leadership and commitment to teamwork reflect the family legacy and dedication to delivering outstanding results in every endeavor.
Chantal: As an apprentice lineman, Chantal contributes hands-on expertise and a fresh perspective. With a strong background in corporate communications in the banking and energy sectors, she has earned national awards and been featured in leading publications. Her technical and creative skills help bring all our projects to life.

Since 2019, Shayline has been there, responding to hurricanes such as Dorian, Fiona, Ida, Milton, and Helene, as well as countless ice storms and nor’easters. We’ve traveled across North America—from Treasure Island, Florida, to Tuktoyaktuk in the Northwest Territories and from Seattle, Washington, to St. John’s, Newfoundland—bringing power back to communities in need.
